Roots in Sacred Land: Heming Mountain

In Dayi County, west of Chengdu, Sichuan, lies mist-covered Heming Mountain—a spiritual beacon where heaven and earth converge. Here, Zhang Daoling, founder of Daoism, penned his foundational Twenty-Four Daoist Texts during the Han Dynasty. Centuries later, master Zhang Sanfeng (the real-life inspiration for The Tai Chi Master,1993) meditated on these slopes, leaving timeless works like Ode to Heming Mountain. This land, steeped in Daoist wisdom for millennia, birthed Qihuang’s vision—our story’s heartfelt beginning.
